Joey + Alyson-Grace

Weddings of dear friends are the sweetest. I've had the blessing of watching Alyson-Grace and Joey's relationship blossom and grow, and I look forward to watching that continue.

Alyson's stunning dress was hand made by Joey's mom.

Navy blue dresses and nude pumps, you can't get much classier than that.

The church is directly across the street from the house where Alyson's mom grew up, and the church is the same one her grandmother was married in.

So close yet so far. They wanted a picture together before the wedding, but both were determined to see, hear, or touch before she walked down the aisle.

Most bride's hire a videographer for their wedding, but not this one. She had her iPhone with her at all times and shot everything she could, just before the ceremony when she had to stay upstairs she would send someone down with specific instructions.

I didn't even have to set up this shot, the girl's shoes were already sitting there. I just added the bride's sparkly slippers. I'm fairly sure the shoes spent more time sitting here rather than on their feet. What can I say? This is the south.

This is one of my favorite shots of the day, and it's completely candid. Amidst the chaos of getting ready I caught Alyson-Grace admiring at her engagement ring.

The saying goes "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue," she said her blue case counted.

I think Uncle Mikey was more nervous about walking down the aisle than Alyson-Grace was.

You might wonder why I was such a bad photographer not to take any pictures of the ceremony, but no photography was allowed during the ceremony.

New use of high heels discovered: balloon poppers

Thank you so much for letting me capture your big day, you two dear people!
